A sky diving game that helped millennials fall in love with McDonald’s.
“Promiscuous Millennials Are Killing McDonald’s” according to the Gothamist. The gist of the article is that millennials are opting for healthier options. But kale, rye, and sweet potato are all boring compared to soft-serves and Big Macs. To remind people how much they loved McDonald’s we tapped into one of the restaurant’s most ownable traits: it’s FUN. We created an “actually addictive” mobile game (according to DigitalBuzz). It hit #1 on both Apple App Store and Google Play game charts, and drove hundreds of thousands of people to stores. Michael was critical to the project, he conceptualized the game presented and sold to client, sketched and refined UX, designed the gameplay (character progression, level design, difficulty curve), designed key character art (Illustrator, Photoshop), storyboarded trailers and teaser videos, and worked with many other talented people.
